BEVRC PV700 has arrived

June 6, 2012 by Brendon in Equipment, FPV

The PV700 I ordered last week from BEVRC arrived today. I was a little worried about it arriving with parts missing as some people have experienced. Luckily, I received everything as advertised.

My first impressions of the DVR is that the quality seems rather good. The buttons have a solid feel when pressed and you don’t have to press very hard for them to register. The sliders feel a little clumsy, but I haven’t had any issues with them. The software is straight forward and easy to use and has recorded with no signal detected (awesome!).

Everything needed to hook the DVR up to a video receiver is included. However, since I use Fatshark Dominator googles to fly, I had to purchase an RCA splitter to split the video signal between the googles and DVR.

I will post videos from the recordings the next time I fly FPV. In the meantime, here are some photos of the PV700.
